1. Getting Started
What Stratask is, how members are invited, user roles, workspace settings and your first steps.
1.1 Welcome to Stratask
Stratask is a strategic planning and operational task tracking tool designed to align and direct the team toward the consistent achievement of agreed-upon goals, thereby increasing the efficiency of the company. Stratask connects each task to a broader strategic goal.
All discussions and decisions are recorded directly on individual tasks and initiatives, instead of scattered email or chat threads. Completed or withdrawn tasks are kept in the archive, so every project stays fully traceable.
1.2 Inviting New Team Members
Access is by invitation only. Before a new user can join, an administrator must authorize their company email address.
- Administrators authorize the company email via the Admin Dashboard (Allow List).
- Invitations are sent automatically via email — check the spam folder if it does not arrive.
- The user registers with their name and password and joins the workspace.
1.3 User Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Full control over Strategic Goals, 90-Day Initiatives, team members, Allow List, approvals, workspace settings, and role changes in Tasks. |
| Member | Focuses on execution — creates, updates and completes tasks, collaborates with teammates, and contributes to 90-day initiatives. |
1.4 Workspace Settings
Managed from the Admin Dashboard: approve new members, grant or remove admin rights, offboard users, and update the workspace name.
1.5 Your First Steps
- Accept the invitation and set your name and password.
- Explore the Dashboard in List View to find the tasks assigned to you.
